Creative DIY Workshop is an instructor lead, family owned, do it yourself (D.I.Y) workshop and event center. We offer a variety of products you can order pre-made, or make yourself! You can choose to work on a project in our workshop, or from the comfort of your own location! We specialize in the assembly, design, and customization of wood signs, trays, lazy susan’s and many more wooden accessories for your home. The workshop brings a fun, creative atmosphere to the D.I.Y experience (yes, we are BYOB!!).
Jen Stratakis, E-RYT 500 is the owner of Jen’s Yoga Zen
Jen is a classically trained yoga teacher whose personal mission is to bring meaningful yoga to as many people as possible. She has completed trainings in Transcend Aerial Yoga, Principle-Based Partner Yoga®, Yin Yoga, and LoveYourBrain® (yoga for TBI survivors.) Her educational background includes a B.S. from Kent State and a Master’s from CMU.
Jen has been teaching yoga for over 15 years, at many local studios and gyms, as well as at Duquesne University, the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and several branches of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh. After gaining a rep as the “animal yoga teacher,” having taught Bunny Yoga at Animal Friends, Y-OWL-GA for the Humane Animal Rescue’s Wildlife Center, and DOGA (yoga with your dog) at many local locations, Jen co-founded NamastHay Goat Yoga of Pittsburgh. NamastHay is Pittsburgh’s first and biggest goat yoga enterprise, and has donated over $12,000 from ticket proceeds to local charities.
Dj Blair Jones has been with Pittsburgh Event Group for a couple of years now. Always brings good energy to every event. He has experience in school dances, clubs, weddings, and private functions ranging from conferences to birthday parties!
While his skills as an MC and Dj are not to be overlooked, it is his ability to connect with his clients and crowds that make him a great fit for any function! Dj Blair has experience in karaoke, Latin music, trivia and hosting as well.
