Welcome to Mini Makers, a creative class designed especially for our littlest artists!
Children ages 4–6 and their caregivers will create side-by-side as they explore art through painting, clay, mixed media, crafts, and more. Each month features a new instructor-led project designed to introduce young artists to different materials, techniques, colors, textures, and ways to create.
And the best part? You get to enjoy creating together without worrying about the mess or cleanup. We take care of that!
At this age, art is about so much more than making something cute to take home.
Through hands-on creating, Mini Makers helps children practice fine motor skills, following directions, making choices, problem-solving, patience, independence, and creative thinking.
Our instructors guide the project, but we encourage our Mini Makers to make it their own. Their project doesn’t have to look exactly like the example, and that’s part of the fun!
This is a relaxed and encouraging environment where little artists can experiment, get a little messy, try something new, and feel proud to say: “I made that!”
Unlike our drop-off youth programs, Mini Makers is designed for the child and caregiver to participate together.
Parents, grandparents, guardians, or another special grown-up are welcome to attend. You’ll help your Mini Maker when needed, encourage their creativity, and get to be part of the experience.
It’s creative time together without having to buy all the supplies, come up with the project, set everything up, or clean everything afterward.
We’ll handle all of that. You just come make memories.
