Middle & High School Students
Ready to take creativity to the next level?
Our Teen & Tween Crafting Club is designed specifically for middle and high school students who want more than a basic craft class. Whether your student already loves art or is just looking for a creative outlet, this program gives them a place to learn real art skills, try new techniques, build confidence, and create work that feels like their own.
No advanced art experience is required. Just come ready to create!
While our Youth Creative Crafting Club focuses on exploring lots of different crafts and materials, Teen & Tween Crafting Club begins to dig deeper into art techniques and fundamentals.
Students will explore areas such as:
Drawing • Painting • Mixed Media • Color Theory • Shading • Perspective • Composition • Proportion • Texture • Creative Design
Projects will vary, giving students opportunities to work with different mediums while learning the techniques behind what they are creating.
Instead of simply following a project step-by-step, students will begin learning why techniques work and how to use those skills in their own artwork.
Our instructors will demonstrate techniques, introduce new concepts, and provide guidance throughout each project, but we don’t want every finished piece to look exactly the same.
As students become more confident, they’ll be encouraged to make their own choices with color, composition, style, technique, and design.
There is no single “right” way to be creative.
We want students to learn the fundamentals while also discovering what makes their art their own.
The middle and high school years can be busy. Between school, sports, activities, homework, and screens, teens and tweens don’t always have a place to simply slow down and create.
Our club gives them that space.
It’s a welcoming environment where students can meet other creative kids, work at their own level, try something new, and enjoy creating without the pressure of grades or competition.
They don’t have to be “the artistic kid” to belong here.
Through continued participation, students can develop:
✓ Stronger drawing and painting skills
✓ Understanding of real art fundamentals
✓ Experience with different mediums and techniques
✓ Creative problem-solving skills
✓ Patience and attention to detail
✓ Confidence in their artistic decisions
✓ Greater independence
✓ Their own creative voice and style
And, of course, they’ll leave with finished artwork they’re proud to say they created themselves. Follow us on socials or subscribe to our newsletter to see what they are making!
