Registration

Item selection and customization details for your project is required at time of registration through our booking process. Please be sure to triple check your spelling and information you provide to make sure the project stencil and materials you will use will be ready and accurate at the start of the workshop. Item Change Request Additional charges may incur at the time of the workshop if a new stencil needs to be made due to customer error. If a new stencil is needed at time of the workshop, a customized one may not be available. A comparable stencil will be provided. If you choose to make changes to your project within 72 hours of your workshop, we would be happy to accommodate your request. There is a $10 stencil recut fee, payable upon the start of your workshop. Changes made prior to 72 hours are done free of charge.

DIY Workshop Cancellation Policy

As we customize most all our DIY Workshop materials for each specific workshop booked, registration fees are non-refundable as they cover the costs of the customized material used. Registration cancellations made at least 72 in advance of the booked workshop will be granted a credit for a future workshop. This credit is valid for up to one year from the original scheduled workshop. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low attendance, inclement weather conditions, or emergency reasons that are out of our control.

Private Event Workshop Cancellation Policy

We require all attendees to register and provide complete project detail information needed for each specific item created at least 72 hours in advance so that we may prepare the materials and customization needed for the event. If a participant does not choose a project in at least 72 hours in advance, they may choose from something at our shop, when available. Customization may not be available at the time of the workshop. We require a minimum number of participants for each private party. A deposit is due when the date is confirmed. Once the minimum number of participants is met, we will refund your initial deposit. If you are unable to meet the minimum number of participants, the deposit will be forfeited. If you choose to cancel the event the deposit will not be refunded. We have a high demand for our space and we essentially close the doors to any other customers to utilize the space for your private event. We reserve the right to cancel a private event due to low attendance, inclement weather conditions or emergency reasons that are out of our control.

Retail Item Purchase

If for any reason you are not happy with your retail purchase, we will refund minus shipping and handling, your purchase within 48 hours of receiving this product. Customized items may not receive a full refund.

Photo Consent

I consent to the use of photos taken on the premises of our designs or events, to be used for marketing or advertising purposes. Please do not share the photo or tag us if you prefer to keep the image private or if you do not wish to have your photo shared. If you do not wish to be a part of our photos, please notify us in writing so that we may make sure that you are not apart of any such marketing photos shared. Please email us at info@creativeDIYworkshop.com putting NO PHOTO in the subject line.

Safety Waiver

I agree to indemnify and defend Creative DIY Workshop against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments costs, or expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my participation in Creative DIY Workshops or my presence in Creative DIY Workshop facilities. I recognize there may be certain inherent risks in participating in Creative DIY Workshops. I agree to release and discharge Creative DIY Workshop for any injury, loss, or damage that may arise out of my participation in Creative DIY Workshops or my presence in Creative DIY Workshop facilities whether caused by me, Creative DIY Workshop or any third party. I agree to take precautions and observe all Creative DIY Workshop policies, recommendations, rules, and warnings, whether provided orally or in writing. I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and my personal belongings. I understand that I will use and/or be exposed to power tools, non-powered hand tools, nails, sandpaper, stain, paint, and additional woodshop related chemicals during Creative DIY workshops. I agree to be responsible for any damages to Creative DIY Work’s tools, equipment, or facilities, to the extent and in the percentage, I cause such damages. I HAVE READ THE CREATIVE DIY WORKSHOP POLICIES AND THIS SAFETY WAIVER AND UNDERSTAND THEM. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY PURCHASING A TICKET OR PRODUCT FROM THIS SITE, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS THAT I MIGHT OTHERWISE HAVE. Please be aware that the products used at Creative DIY Workshop is for the enjoyment of our customers and are protected by copyright and federal law, and any unauthorized use or copying without permission from Creative DIY Workshop is expressly prohibited.
